Let's talk PORTIONS, CALORIES & WATER!

PORTIONS: Most people are shocked to find they are overeating when it comes to serving sizes, even with fruits & vegetable. Portions can be one of the biggest reasons WHY you aren't seeing results, if you are consuming more than you are burning each day.

CALORIES: Do you know how many calories you are supposed to be eating per day? If not, once you log into your Team Beachbody account http://www.teambeachbody.com/paulachavez , click on the Eat Smart tab > Nutrition Tools > Caloric Needs. For the most part, rule of thumb, your current weight x 10 = your maintenance weight but if your goal is to lose weight or gain weight for example, that number has to change.


hehehe, not really! So because they are real and they are in everything we eat or drink, it's important to know exactly how much, according to our goals. SO make sure you know that number and track everyone of them you eat, as the day goes by.

WATER: We should be aiming for approximately 1/2 our body weight in ounces per day. So for example, if you weigh 180 lbs, your water goal should be 90 oz per day.


If you have a hard time drinking water, flavor it up with fruit or herbs! Lemons, limes, oranges, and strawberries slices, mint leaves, and cucumbers are all great to throw in! this one is delicious! Perfect for Summer.

4 large Strawberries
Handful of Raspberries
Handful of Mint leaves
1 half-gallon of water
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before drinking.
