Let’s get ready to rock and roll with our 2017 New Year New You Beachbody Health Bet Group! What does that mean? Beachbody is doing it again!! This January the Beachbody Health Bet is back! The first one was a complete success and i have no doubt this second one is also going to be a blast! .  So basically the company has put into a pot $1 million and then for every challenge pack sold between October and December they have been adding $5 per package.  The minimum the pot will be is $2 million and the maximum is $3 million.  How cool… Right!  Why not get paid to get fit and stay accountable.

Beachbody will split the pot between every participant that starts and progresses through their program in January.  Each week you will log your workouts, your Shakeology and participate in the group.  If you log 5 weekly Shakeology’s and at minimum 3 workouts into our challenge tracker app then you are entered to win the cash prize!

I strongly believe that people who eat clean feel more energetic, optimistic and look younger and of course healthier. Healthy eating is the best medicine, the best energy booster, the best way to prevent heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, lack of energy, and much more.
A lot of people don't really understand what eating clean means, and no it's not eating cupcakes while mopping the floor. smile emoticon
Very often when I'm interviewing my clients, they tell me they eat clean and then when they go through my clean eating workshop realize that perhaps they weren't really eating that clean.

It's simple. I'm going to teach you how in my upcoming 7 day healthy eating workshop... you'll learn step by step what it means, how to implement it and what to eat. I'll also teach you about keeping a balance so you don't feel like you are being punished. it's about progress, not perfection.

FIT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Delicious!!! you guys are going to love them... The kids can't stop eating them and I'm here like, sure have them... chocolate chip cookies, healthy, why not! They are Gluten free, paleo, so no worries there. Of course they still have calories so enjoy in moderation but they are a really nice treat.  The coconut oil gives them a sweet coconutty taste.  yum! 

Serves: 26 (1 cookie each)  Prep Time: 20 min.    Cooking Time:16 min.
CONTAINER EQUIVALENTS (per serving)        1 1/2 

3 cups                 almond flour

1 tsp                   baking flour, gluten-free 

1/4 tsp                sea salt (or Himalayan salt)

1/4 cup               extra virgin organic coconut oil, melted
                    
1/4 cup               pure maple syrup (or raw honey)
                           
1                         large egg

2                         large egg whites (1/4 cup)

1/2 cup               semi-sweet (or dark)
                           chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 375  F.
2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
3. Combine almond flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl;mix well.Set aside.
4. Beat oil and maple syrup in a large mixer bowl until creamy, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. 
5. Add eggs, egg whites, and extract; beat for an additional two minutes.
6. Add almond flour mixture to egg mixture; mix until blended.
7. Add chocolate chips; mix until just blended.
8. Drop by rounded Tbsp. onto prepared baking sheet. Flatten cookies with a spatula if traditional cookie appearance is desired. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Store in an airtight container.

Tips:
  • You can make your own almond flour by processing 1 cup of silvered almonds in a food processor (or blender with a strong motor). Make sure that you pulse in 20-second intervals to prevent the almonds from turning into almond butter. 1 cup of silvered almonds yields approximately 1 cup of almond flour.
  • If you cannot find almond flour in your store, you can look at club stores or online.

Are you riding the fitness change train and feeling a little disappointed?

Please, give yourself a pat in the back!!! hello, you are at least riding the train.... do you even realize how many wish they were and they're are just too lazy to take charge of their own health.... you are the bomb! keep going.... and keep these in mind...
  • It takes more than a week to gain weight, it's going to take way more than a week to lose it.  Be patient. 
  • Progress is happening wether you see it every day or not... if you are being consistent, changes are happening.. and results are guaranteed.  
  • If you are feeling a little desperate... don't allow sweets and junk food be the comforting solution to your frustration... it's only going to make things worse. have some herbal tea and go to sleep. 
  • Don't look for special pills, wraps or miracles. HARD WORK and CONSISTENCY is the ONLY WAY TO REACH YOUR GOAL! 
  • Just like you didn't gain more fat every day, you will not notice it going away every day, but it doesn't mean you're not getting fitter!
  • Feel PROUD of yourself every day.  every effort you are making, every sacrifice should be celebrated. Recognize how awesome you are. 
  • Now this one is huge....... Stop  letting the scale steal your joy!! that sucker!!!  Don't weigh in every week! You gain muscle, you gain water in your muscles and it masks fat loss.  instead judge by the clothing size, measuring tapes and how you feel.

Don't expect to do everything perfect or right all the time.  Some things will work for you, some won't. HOLIDAY SURVIVAL ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP

We have accomplished so much this year! 5 DAYS OF CLEAN EATING- FREE ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP

It's November, it's a Season of cool weather, pumpkin spice, jackets and boots.  It's also the month we celebrate Thanksgiving and what a better way for me to pay it forward than to share with as many people as possible, simple and basic healthy eating habits to help them avoid the typical holiday weight gain.  So many people ask me on a daily basis about this that I've decided to run a free group and share a few info and tips with everyone who decides to join.  

I  am a weight loss success story because I found Beachbody workout and clean eating.  I want you to be able to find what works for you, but first baby steps.  This is not about a crash diet.  It's about learning the basis and little by little change your lifestyle.  

I remember back to my first few weeks and even months of clean eating and it was HARD!  It was hard to kick some of my previous bad habits like carb overload and pizza addiction!  It was hard to cut out the cream and sugar in my coffee and to find recipes that our whole family enjoyed.  So this was a whole new ball game for me.  Yes it did take me time to understand but I was determined to change my body more than I wanted to stay the same! I lost 80 lbs and I've maintained them off for over 2 years because what I learned, which I am going to teach you, changed my habits.
