This is probably the easiest, quickest, most versatile recipe for chicken you will ever find!
I prefer the Chicken breast because they contain less fat, making them a healthier, leaner option.
You will need:
4 Garlic Cloves1 Tablespoon dried Basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
4 chicken breasts or 8 boneless thighs defrosted
1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Olive oil
Sea Salt & Pepper to taste (1 teaspoon of each should be enough)
Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and spread on the chicken. Set aside.
Start the Crockpot, add 1 Tablespoon olive oil, and crushed garlic. I set mine on 4 hours so it cooks on high and its done super fast! Place the chicken on top.
Once it's done, there are so many delicious ways you can enjoy it! Shred it and eat on salads, sandwiches, with vegetables, with quinoa, with rice, in Burritos and Tacos. the possibilities are endless. make a lot and come up with different ways to eat it during the week for time saving. spend your time wisely when it comes to meal prepping and healthy eating will not be difficult.
Peas out!
